What's at The Skelf?

The Skelf is a free to use bike park suitable for people of any age. Bring your balance bike, scooter, BMX, jump bike or mountain bike and get riding!

MTB Trails

There is a 1km loop of signposted mountain bike trails at the Skelf. These trails are blue graded with some optional red graded features. The trails are rideable in all weathers. The trails are fast, smooth and fun and designed to help you develop your mountain biking skills. See the FAQs for more info and an explanation of what the trail grades mean.

The Pump Track

The Skelf has a 900 sq m pump track. A pump track is a continuous loop of “berms” (banked corners)  and “rollers” (smooth mounds) that you ride without pedalling. It's suitable for BMXs, jump bikes, mountain bikes, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades and even balance bikes and can be ridden in all weathers. See the FAQs for more information on pump tracks.

Sponsors and Funders

The SKELF is a non profit, charitable organisation. Without the support of many funders the bike park could not have come to be. We'd also like to thank the professional designers who planned and built the park
